You have to remember that your generator is portable. This means that it might not be suited for heavy duty use although this would highly depend on the portable generator that you are going to purchase. There are some portable generators with better capacity than others. Consider this well before you purchase anything and keep track of the load that you have placed on your portable generator. Overloading your portable generator will be dangerous.

The portable generator is something that you can use in times of emergency or even when you would like to go camping and you would like to stay comfortable when you are outdoors but there are always safety precautions that you ought to take to make sure that nothing bad will come out of using portable generators.   1. Thank you for the help. I just bought a generator just in case something happens to our power. Sadly, I did not realize that you shouldn’t put the generator indoors. I didn’t realize that it emits carbon monoxide. I am glad that I haven’t used it yet. I will be sure to be more aware before I use it for the first time.
